Read Across America

March 2nd is the birthday of Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss.  We celebrated with some fun activities in Mrs. Parnell's Kindergarten class.  Stories were read.  Bingo was played.  We interviewed our new friends to learn a little bit more about each other.  Have you ever won Tic-Tac-Toe with green eggs and ham pieces?  We colored The Cat in the Hat and completed a word search.  To cap off the fun, we attempted to place an egg piece on a plate without looking.  Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and we can't wait to do some more fun things with our Kindergarten friends soon.
