Mrs. Visocchi recently completed her first 1/2 marathon in Disney World. Her next goal is the 2012 Boston Marathon. Check out the pictures below of Mrs. Visocchi in Disney. Which region is Disney World in? What is the capital of that state?

The course led me from Epcot to Magic Kingdom and back to Epcot. What an amazing experience!

It is day 20 of incubation and our chicks have arrived! We are very excited to watch our chicks hatch during the next couple of days. Here are our eggs that we will care for at 99 degrees Fahrenheit in their classroom incubator.

We have begun our Matter Unit and with the help of Mr. Musselman we have checked out some Mystery Matter. Check out the pictures below of our fun with science!

ROCKET DAY!

What a fantastic and successful Rocket Day! The weather was perfect though a bit chilly. Almost all of our rockets blasted off without a hitch. Check out the pictures of our great day!

A HUGE Thank You goes out to the parents of 213 who helped build rockets in 206, 207, 213. What a great day! All of our rocket bodies are built and ready to go.

Force and Motion

Student Council

Marissa and Morgan, fifth grade Student Council members, came in this morning to inform us that we can be on Student Council too! If your child is interested they can fill out the packet and complete the assignment that came home today. We can't wait to vote!

The deadline to register for instruments is Monday, September 26th. Registration can be completed at elemband.wordpress.com.

Pickup is Monday in the High School Caf. from 6:30-8:00.

Rocket Training is October 14th at 9am in the PG Caf.

Rocket Building is October 17th in the 4th Grade Classrooms at 9am.

Rocket Launch is October 28th at 9am in the PG Parking Lot.

10th Anniversary of September 11th

On September 9th, the students and teachers celebrated the dedication of our town heroes. There was beautiful music and singing thanks to the Pine Glen 5th Graders and Mrs. Agati. Third grade students read letters to the police and firefighters in attendance. It was a beautiful sunny day to remember.
